Women Uplifting Women Ministries, International and Women and Men Uplifting Ministries, International realizes the seriousness of touching the lives of those God has sent in a postive way, and although has remained small in staff; we have been able to make great strives in humanitarian, spiritual and natural endeavors. With the help of many organizations Rev. Dr. Addie S. Robb has networked, such as World Vision, Georgetown Univeristy, and Most Valuable Kids, this Organization has been able to provide substance not only in this country, but in Africa as well. In Luke 18:1 Jesus told his disciples that they ''should always pray and not give up.'' and then Jesus asked ''...will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night?'' Women and Men Uplifting Men Ministries, International believe that God will deliver and restore us when we seek His face. This Organization has witnessed the faithfulness of God in doing what He says He will do.

Rev. Dr. Robb does not ask anyone to join Women Uplifting Women Ministries, International or Women and Men Uplifting Ministries, International, but accepts those that God sends for their season. Many have come but could not understand the Vision and could not walk in what God had commissioned for this Organization, and that is to make women, men and children whole spiritually and naturally, so they were able to thrive. As the Scripture reads in Amos 3:3, “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” No they cannot walk together unless they have come to an understanding and are in agreement. Trying not to compromise the Vision but still trying to appease those who were attaching themselves to the Organization, Dr. Robb sometimes stepped outside of what God wanted her to do. After receiving God’s warning to again return to what He wanted done, for it was not her will but God’s will that must be done, she would pick up the mantle and start again.

God is not complicated, so we have not tried to complicate this Organization. Other Organizations stand on one philosophy or another, they demand that you recite their bylaws and remember them, profess your undying loyalty to the Organization, and be at their beck and call.

In Women and Men Uplifting Ministries, International it is completely different; first of all we realize that we own no one on this earth. Secondly, God has implanted in our minds and hearts that He will send people in to stay for a season and then they move on. Thirdly, we know that we all fall short of God’s expectations; so we are not looking for perfection, but we pray that God will perfect that which is in us. With these things in mind this Organization was built on these simple Godly principles:

•Be kind to one another. Act charitably and benevolently to all people, regardless of how we are treated in return. Take the initiative to be kind. If your kindness is not received, then at least you have done what God has required.

•Be tenderhearted. Have compassion. Show genuine sensitivity, allowing for other’s faults and failings while still showing care and concern. Remember you are not perfect and have some faults that you must bring into subjection.

•Be forgiving. This probably the most difficult. To flourish in this type of ministry where you have an intimate relationship with people while trying to help them become whole; we must forgive. Even when in the midst of counseling or prayer and being verbally abused, we must forgive and not break the connection, but continue to strive to reach them. We can forgive because we are forgiven. “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32

•Be real. As a representative of this Organization we ask that you be real. “Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor for we are members of one another.” Ephesians 4:25. In other words speak the truth do not fancy it up or make it pretty, but tell what needs to be said and do it Biblically. We are to help set people free and make them whole. Remember the truth shall set you free.

•Confidentiality. Do not reveal anyone’s personal business or information. Do not become a gossip or busybody carrying tales one to the other. We are to help heal and not to exploit one’s past for we have a past of our own. “And besides they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they out not. “ 1 Timothy 5:13

•Pay dues and send up alms. Render unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar as it clearly states in the Bible. At times we may be called to come out of pocket to help feed an elderly person, or to assist in buying food for a funeral. We do no require that anyone give pass his or her dues, but would like it if a person can. Each person must search his or her own heart in this area. Each person is responsible for themselves and the level of their contributions.

Dr. Robb requests that upon entering this Organization to work for the building of God’s Kingdom that you leave on the outside:

1. Jealousy

2. Strife

3. Confusion

4. Power Struggles

5. Rage

6. Envy

7. Evil Suspicions

“If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw your self.” 1 Timothy 6:1-5

We do welcome anyone that would like to join us and be a part of this dynamic Organization reaching and touching the lives of people all over the world. If you would like more information contact us at wuwmusa@comcast.net.

OUR CREED

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,

creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died, and was buried;

he descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again;

he ascended into heaven,

he is seated at the right hand of the Father,

and he will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy Christian church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

and the life everlasting. AMEN

What is a Creed

General Information

A creed is a brief, authorized summary of the Christian doctrine that is sometimes recited in church services as an affirmation of faith. Formulations of the Christian faith, presumably taken as the basis of teaching and evangelization, are to be found in the New Testament, although in a rudimentary form as in 1 Cor. 12:3. St. Paul wrote of believers who submitted without reservation to the creed that they were taught (Rom. 6:17).

Of the two classical creeds, the Apostles' Creed belongs in its essential content to the apostolic age, although it is not the work of the Apostles. It had its origin in the form of a confession of faith used in the instruction of catechumens and in the liturgy of Baptism. The creed may have been learned by heart and at first transmitted orally (to protect it from profanation). It is based on a formula current at Rome c. 200, although the present form of the text did not appear before the 6th century. It is used by Roman Catholics and many Protestant churches but has never been accepted by the Eastern Orthodox churches.

The other classical creed, the Nicene, was an expression of the faith of the church as defined at the Councils of Nicaea (325) and Constantinople (381), and later reaffirmed at the Councils of Ephesus (431) and Chalcedon (451). Based probably on the baptismal creed of Jerusalem, the Niceno - Constantinopolitan Creed contained a fuller statement concerning Christ and the Holy Spirit than the earlier formula. Its use in eucharistic worship is not much earlier than the 5th century. The so - called Filioque (''and the Son'') clause, expressing the double procession of the Spirit, was added at the Third Council of Toledo (589). The Nicene Creed is used by Roman Catholics, many Protestants, and the Eastern Orthodox; the last, however, reject the Filioque clause.

The Athanasian Creed (sometimes known as the Quicunque, from the opening Latin word) was first clearly referred to in the 6th century, and the attribution to Athanasius is untenable. It is Latin in origin, and in the Middle Ages it was regularly used in church services. Since the Reformation the liturgical use of the Athanasian Creed has been confined mainly to the Roman Catholic church and the Anglican Communion, although it is now infrequently recited.

Women Uplifting Women Ministries, International believe that the Creeds are to join us together and not tear us apart. We must realize that whatever our individual beliefs that God is Supreme in all of our lives and that he came through Jesus Christ to give us life, and life more abundantly.

We have allowed our individual ''isms'' to keep us apart and to tear down the Christian community. That is not what God intended for us for He truly blesses the masses that seek His face.

Our belief is just that, what we believe is right for us. However, if you find some difference in your belief let it not deter us from coming together and working together on common goals for all mankind.

We hope this explains our position and we pray that you have gained some understanding and insight.
